Dialogue in the dark!

Long time never go school excursion and sit school excursion bus!

well last wednesday, i went to Ngee Ann poly's dialogue in the dark!

the trip is about 1 hour.

paid $6 (50% discounted price) but definitely worth it!

So whats dialogue in the dark?

its actually a very cool experience!

And it is about experiencing the total darkness. Just like how blind people feel.

So when i started out the trip with my other 5 class mates (xuewen, shih sing, zhan hui, billy and wei hao), we were sort of like excited.

We were handed the sticks for blind and ask to put our glasses on the shelves provided.

The slowly, we went in by a queue.

at first it was excited. but about 1 minute later, when i enter COMPLETE darkness, i start to feel the "lonely" and "cold".

i didn't know that opening your eyes but seeing NOTHING is such a scary thing until i experience it that day.

so you will ask, since you are so afraid, how did you manage the whole journey?

well, because there were 6 of us (including me) and we are all talking, automatically you felt assured. Because no matter what happened, there are people with you, the "lonely" and "cold" seems to go away. and it does not matter any more who you are with at that 1 hour.

so we have a tour guide.

his name is westley (i SUPPOSED its spelled that way) and he is very friendly. To be honest his voice reminds me of mr choong, my authoring teacher LOL! sorry mr choong haha.

So we went through alot of things.

everything uses sense of touch, hear and smell! :D

we were like: *touch touch* who are you arh?

LOL. and due to inexperience in using of the stick, we keep smacking each other's leg LOL.

then we drink in the cafe inside. though its cafe, but they sell chrysanthemum tea, barley drink and mineral and ice lemon tea (best sales for this LOL).

and its the 1st time i actually touch the base of a dustbin to know its a dustbin LOL.

the funniest part is that, i was walking very infront.

then westley will say "walk towards my voice"

then i always zhun zhun found him and zhun zhun stand beside him.

then he say "wah today so good no one molest me"

and i was like, 3cm away from him only.

SO I GO AHEAD AND TOUCH HIM RIGHT AFTER HE SAID THAT LOLOLLOLOLOLOLOL.

i think i touched his chest. but its ok, i not pervert. haha!

then one more thing i remember was, we were told to touch walls all the time so that you can follow (i bump into 3 dead corners LOL). then i remember, i touch, then the wall can move.

so i was shocked and ask, why is the wall moving?

then i know, its actually a DOOR. SLIDING DOOR LOL.

its super funny man. haha.
